What it is
Sinecura is a launcher for coins on Pons, on Robinhood Chain. Every coin launched through it comes with a seat: an NFT that collects 20% of that coin's creator fees, forever. A sinecure is a position that pays without work. That is the seat.
There are 1,366 seats, exactly as many as the New York Stock Exchange had for half a century.
Seats
- Seats are numbered № 0001 to № 1366 and minted in order, one per coin launched.
- The seat is minted to whoever launches the coin, in the same transaction.
- Seat n costs 0.0015 ETH + (n − 1) × 0.000018 ETH: 0.0015 ETH for the first, about 0.026 ETH for the last. The seat fee goes to the treasury.
- Whatever the seat earns waits in the Seats contract until its holder claims it. If the seat changes hands, the unclaimed balance goes with it.
Launching
One transaction does everything: the coin's vault is created, the coin is launched on Pons V2 with the vault as its creator-fee recipient, your optional opening buy is made on the curve (the launcher is exempt from Pons' snipe tax), and the seat is minted to you.
You pay Pons' launch fee, the seat fee and your opening buy, if any. You choose a creator tax of 1%, 2% or 3%, charged on every trade on top of Pons' 1% base fee.
Fees
On every trade of a Sinecura coin, Pons sends its creator share (0.7% of the trade) and the creator tax to the coin's vault. Anyone can trigger a harvest. Each harvest splits the vault's ETH the same way:
| Creator | 50%, claimable by the coin's creator |
| The seat | 20%, claimable by whoever holds the seat |
| Treasury | 23%, which buys seats back from the Hall |
| $CURA | 7%, spent on $CURA, which is burned |
The vault has no owner and no withdrawal function. Nobody can change the split.
The Hall
The Hall shows all 1,366 seats. Any holder can list a seat at a price in ETH, change the price or take it off sale. A purchase pays the seller, minus 2% for the treasury, and moves the seat with its unclaimed balance to the buyer. A listing is cancelled automatically if the seat moves.
After № 1366
No seat is ever minted after № 1366. The treasury keeps buying the cheapest seats listed in the Hall. Each new coin then takes one of those seats, at the price the treasury paid for it, and the seat earns from every coin attached to it. When the treasury holds no seat, launches wait for the next one.
$CURA
$CURA is Sinecura's token, launched on Pons. 7% of the creator fees of every Sinecura coin are spent on $CURA and burned in the same transaction.
The $CURA address is published here once the token is live.

Risks
- Coins launched here are memecoins. Most go to zero, and a seat earns only while its coin trades.
- Seat prices in the Hall are set by their holders. Nothing guarantees a buyer.
- The contracts are verified and were tested and reviewed, but not audited by a firm. Use amounts you can afford to lose.
- The keeper (a wallet run by Sinecura) triggers the treasury's seat purchases and the $CURA burns. It cannot move funds anywhere else.
- Sinecura is independent. It is not affiliated with Pons or Robinhood.
